Consequent to the reorganization of Kendriya Vidyalayas and establishment of 7 new regional offices of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the Regional Office, Tinsukia was established on 09.04.2012, thereby taking the number of KVS regional offices from 18 to 25. The Tinsukia Region of KVS encompasses thirty seven (37) Kendriya Vidyalayas of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.
