Welcome to the official website of KVS Regional Office, Tinsukia, one of the 25 Regional Offices of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Regional Office, Tinsukia, was inaugurated on 9 April 2012 as part of the reorganisation of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan into additional Regional Offices, with the objective of strengthening administration and ensuring more effective academic and organisational support to Kendriya Vidyalayas. Located in Tinsukia, Assam, the Tinsukia Region serves as an important educational hub in the North-Eastern part of the country. The Region presently oversees 41 Kendriya Vidyalayas spread across the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland.

The Kendriya Vidyalayas under Tinsukia Region serve a diverse and vibrant population across the North-Eastern states, including students from civilian, defence, project and other service backgrounds. The Region embraces the rich cultural diversity, geographical uniqueness and educational aspirations of the North-East while upholding the core values and objectives of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
